While in Delhi, we headed to the row of music stores near Chowndi Chawk market in Old Delhi to start our search for sitars, tablas, sirongis, and sarods. It was a fun experience as we were often given little impromptu "concerts" by the owners showing off the instruments and their skills. The cost of these instruments is so cheap for us, just a fraction of what they would cost in America the impetus for this trip to begin with. Now we just have to figure out how we are going to get these things home...
